Changing the travel nursing game

I love that I can essentially load up my profile and apply to a multitude of jobs from multiple companies and sort those jobs by specifics of state, shift, pay, permanent or travel jobs. I was doubtful at first but as I navigate the app and prepare to actively submit for multiple jobs I am very hopeful about the jobs that have been presented. I’ll have to update once I accept. It is also my litmus test about what the market is doing in areas that I wanna travel to. Makes it very easy to compare jobs from recruiters were actively reaching out to me from the same hospitals that are noted on here and either ask for an increase in pay if another agency is offering other benefits such as bonuses etc.

Nothing but upside

Like most things in our industry, some agencies and recruiters on NurseFly can really be hit or miss, but even with the occasional recruiter being unresponsive, you still get insight into the demand for our services across a wide selection of agencies, which is transparency I’ve never gotten anywhere else. Even if you end up going with your own recruiter, there’s no reason not to check NurseFly, it’s easy and could just help you make sure you’re getting paid the most you could be for your next travel assignment.

Basically useless

I can't speak to this app's efficacy for RNs, but if you're a pharmacy tech, don't waste your time. Most of the job postings are from agencies you've never heard of, with recruiters who might respond within a week or might just never respond at all. In some cases, a recruiter will reach out to you and ask you for all the information that could easily be found in the resume you already uploaded, i.e. "how many years of experience do you have?" or "Are you nationally certified/which state are you registered in?" The app itself is glitchy, as another review mentioned, a job will post as new and then you look at it and it’s already filled. Based on how slow moving these recruiters are, I doubt they filled it that quickly. Also, when you mark yourself as interested in a job, it doesn’t show that you’ve already marked it in the job listings. So I’d end up marking my interest on the same job several times without realizing it. I spent a little over 2 months constantly checking this app, actively looking for a job. When I finally gave up and applied directly to a better agency, I had a contract in less than a week. It’s very disappointing that a healthcare service can be this lacking in the year 2022. Do better.
